National Chi Nan University (NCNU) is located in the center of Taiwan and was founded in 1995. The Master's program of the Department of International Business Studies (IBS) was one of the first available diplomas in NCNU. An undergraduate program of IBS was established the following year, with a PhD program following 3 years later. The Department of International Business Studies is an academic unit that combines teaching, practice, and research. NCNU now has undergraduate and graduate programs targeting business administration, as well as one track in the PhD program of Emerging Market Strategy and Development that is specifically geared towards international business management.

　　IBS has 14 faculty members covering all fields in management, with 2 staff members in the main office who deal with administration affairs. The department has won high reputation in central Taiwan. Some faculty members have been honored with the "Excellent teaching and contribution award" for five consecutive years, making IBS one of the most awarded departments in NCNU. We offer three tracks of specialty courses: "International Business Management and Strategy", "International Marketing and Innovation", and "International Finance ".
