Now that you've decided to study at NCNU of Applied Sciences, you will also need a place to stay. At NCNU you can look forward to living in quality accommodation. Each semester, local and international students enjoy the convenience and affordability of our residential services. There are tips can help you with that. We have many rooms and apartments at different locations in school or both Puli and Tao-mi. Below you'll find information on the different types of accommodation, rental prices and how to register.
♦ You will be able to rent a room for a period of up to one academic year.
♦ Dormitories are managed by NCNU Student Dorm Service Section.
♦ You cannot choose the room type; a room will be directly assigned to you.
♦ The amount of rooms aren't unlimited; therefore we cannot guarantee that you will be granted your most preferred choice.
♦ We currently do not provide student accommodation for couples and families.
1. Undergraduate Dormitory : TWD$6660 per semester
All undergraduate dormitories are quadruple-occupancy rooms, both men and women residence halls consist five floors. Each room is furnished with bed frames, wardrobes, desks, chairs, bookshelves, outlets and Internet ports.
Public facilities include washing machines, spin dryers, dryers, water dispensers, televisions, refrigerators and study rooms. Students from quadruple-occupancy rooms usually settle in to university life quickly and become comfortable with the campus environment faster. Each room is furnished with individual wooden bed frames, personal wardrobes, desks, chairs, bookshelves, outlets and Internet ports. Gymnasium, basketball courts, cafeteria, convenience stores and bookstore are all nearby. Well-equipped facilities provide safe and comfortable accommodation for our students.
2. Graduate Dormitory : TWD$10750 per semester
Graduate dormitory is the newest dormitory NCNU has built, it consists total of six floors. Each double-occupancy air-conditioned suites is equipped with bed frames, wardrobes, desks, chairs, bookshelves, drawers, telephone, air conditioner, outlets and Internet ports. Every room is with a private bathroom shared between 2 residents.
Public facilities include washing machines, spin dryers, dryers, water dispensers, refrigerators, microwaves, rice cookers, televisions and study rooms. Students will need to scan fingerprint to access the residential sections. Each floor provides multi-functional fitness equipment and spacious lobby for reading and movies watching.
NCNU established the "NCNU rental system" which lists all the rental information in Puli area for the students' reference. Moreover, there is annual conference for landlords to share information to students. The rental range is 3000 dollars to 5000 dollars per month.
